I recently had the pleasure of staying at a brilliant little place surrounded by trees. The mini kitchen, shower, and comfy bed at Aviary Lodge were exactly what I needed after a long 80km cycle ride to Portsmouth ferry. The lush carpet and tasteful decor added to the cozy atmosphere. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the friendly host made me feel incredibly welcomed. Nothing was too much bother for them, and they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. As a bonus, I got to experience three ferry rides to Hythe, Hamble, and Gosport.

i just needed a place for overnight stay, everything was brand-new. i had a warm welcome from the host. the location was marvellous, in the middle of the city, i appreciated it. no complains at all, did not want to leave.

The bed was comfy, I slept good. It was located in a fairly quiet area in the middle of the city.

A Heavenly View

I simply couldn't tear my eyes away from the breathtaking scenery outside my window. As if eager to please, the mountains stood tall and proud, casting shadows that danced with the passing clouds. It felt like I had my own private art exhibition, with nature as the talented curator. Simply mesmerizing!

Low Ceiling

My recent stay at Aviary Lodge was a pleasant surprise. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, and the lady who welcomed us was warm and friendly. The cleanliness of the room exceeded my expectations, with plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries provided. Additionally, having coffee, tea, and other amenities available was a thoughtful touch. Despite a few minor hiccups, such as the bedding being of poor quality and the toilet not being fixed to the floor, I still found the overall experience to be satisfactory. I would recommend Aviary Lodge for a comfortable and convenient stay.

loved our stay at aviary lodge in hurn! everything surpassed our expectations. from the warm welcome by sue to the comfy bed and mini kitchen, everything was perfect. the location surrounded by trees was ideal for our bike ride to portsmouth ferry. we felt so welcome and the friendly host made us feel at home. highly recommend!

Noisy drivers on the road.

The lodge has a great setting near the airport, Hurn forest, and Portsmouth ferry. The room was extremely spacious with 2 double beds. The host was always available, which was very convenient.

The cleanliness was top-notch, with everything spotless and tidy. The location was perfect, being close to all the main attractions and amenities. Plus, they provided plenty of towels and little extras like shower gel, handwash, coffee, tea.

The ceilings had an odd angle, and we kept bumping our heads against them. It's something we constantly forgot about and became a bit of a nuisance.

Enjoyed the mini kitchen and comfy bed at this tree-surrounded spot. The host's friendliness made me feel welcome and they went above and beyond. Perfect location for cycling to the ferry. Appreciated the provided amenities, including towels and toiletries. a great stay.

We had a great stay at Aviary Lodge. The location was perfect, surrounded by trees and close to Hurn forest for a lovely walk. The host, Sue, was very kind and made us feel welcome. The mini kitchen in the studio was well-equipped and the bed was comfy. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the place. it was a pleasant experience and we would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

We did notice a few drawbacks. The bedding quality could have been better, as the pillows were uncomfortable.
